Halden started with a feeling… the feeling you get when you walk into a room and everything just works. The lighting is soft, the textures are inviting and everything in the room looks like it belongs.

We wanted to bottle that feeling and help people create their own perfect home. We started with lighting as this immediately affects how you feel in a room and hopefully inspires you to create a beautiful space. Before long our customers asked ‘what else’ and so we began to slowly add more categories of home wares. Halden offers a curated selection of home wares to help decorate and complete every room, including lighting, home decor, furniture, soft furnishings, tableware and accessories.

Modern designed items feature clean lines and simple shapes, paired with a palette of warm neutral tones and natural materials to ensure all products are not only stylish but also durable and long lasting. Items are chosen for their versatility and usability, designed to be lived in and not just displayed on a wall or in a corner.

Our shop is run by a small team of individuals based in Surry Hills, Sydney. The team are genuine home enthusiasts who hand select, feel and inspect every item added to the site. In some cases, the team will turn down product that could potentially be of value to customers as it wouldn’t ‘earn its place’ in a home. What this means is Halden offers up a well-curated selection of home wares rather than a never-ending collection of inferior products.
